Problems and countermeasures of biomass energy industry development in China

Being one of the biggest economic powers, China´s economic development relies highly on the energy supply. Developing biomass energy has the important significance to meet the energy crisis. But the rising price of grains and other uncertainties induced by the current development pattern leads to a strict restriction by the Chinese government. This paper makes a deepen analysis on the issues concerning the process of developing the biomass energy industry, and finally, according to the international experience, a series countermeasures are brought forward.
