Different vectors generation techniques with distributed features for text classification using KNN

On daily basis abundant amount of data is generated and is growing exponentially. Much work is focused in classify the structured data so as to make efficient retrieval. But not much work is focused in classifying the textual data. The present paper attempts in classifying the textual data. In the process of classification the effects of the features distributed across the document is explored. KNN algorithm is employed and the results obtained are encouraging.
