Abstract :
In this paper, we introduced the idea of the development metamodel as a means to guide the developers throughout the development process. We suggested switching the focus from the software to the developers by introducing a new expressive model. We showed how a lightweight (Java-based) embedded domain-specific language can help the architect to describe intended guidelines and constraints clearly and concisely. We also showed how this DSL, can be a used to ensure the constraints in the final product.
