Abstract
In this paper, sliding mode observer is applied to solve fault detection and reconstruction problem for singular bilinear systems with input or measurement faults. To detect and isolate faults, a sliding mode observer based approach is proposed. A feed-forward signal is defined and the existence conditions of fault detection and reconstruction are addressed. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the approach.
