Abstract :
To increase the compression ratio and decrease the complexity of algorithm when compressing the true colour image. An improved method is adopted based on colour components in current line. Then we make error predicting adaptively based on neural network, and then code them with Rice coding. Experiment shows that: this method is effective in compression ratio and its coding time is shorter.
