2012 Rayleigh Award of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Mathias Fink

PROFESSOR MATHIAS FINK (M\´90) is the 12th recipient of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Rayleigh Award. The award was presented during ceremonies at the 2012 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium in Dresden, Germany, on October 9th, 2012. The laudation was given by Professor Jim Greenleaf (Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, MN). Dr. Fink\´s award citation reads: "For outstanding contributions to the physics and application of time reversal methods and for academic and commercial development of shear wave imaging."
