Abstract :
Theoretical investigation of Smith-Purcell (SP) radiation is carried out for the case of electron beam bunching by evanescent backward wave of periodic structure. In order to increase SP radiation power we suggest to use an additional mirror that forms open resonator and provides positive feedback for SP radiation.
