Abstract :
A useful feedback system controller parametrization is well known for various special cases. In this paper, complete generality of the theory is achieved for linear systems by the use of projection methods. The generalized theory includes all possible signal spaces and linear maps representing plant and controller. This makes the parametrization possible even when the input and output signal spaces of the plant controller are different. This parametrization is useful in digital control system design
