  • Abstract
    A haar-like features based eye detection algorithm is introduced and implemented on TI TMS320DM6446 platform in this paper. With fast searching speed and high detection rate, the algorithm is packed into codec and put on the DSP-side for remote call. Application on the ARM-side captures face images from camera and outputs detection results to computer monitor. Experimental results demonstrated that the implemented eye detection system on DM6446 can search and locate eyes effectively with little chip resources required.
