Abstract
The paper describes the design and implementation of the service logic execution environment platform of GTE´s intelligent network (IN) testbed. The platform is a layer of software built on top of computer operating systems. Based on the primitive services provided by the underlying operating systems, the platform provides higher-level services to service logic programs (SLPs). SLPs, applications of the platform, provide the logic that implements IN services. The paper presents an overview of the abstraction and services presented to SLPs, and then discusses the server architecture which realizes that abstraction
