  • Abstract
    A novel 2×2 microfluidic-based optical switch is demonstrated. The device is made of an optically clear elastomer, using soft lithography, and having insertion loss smaller than 1 dB, extinction ratio of 20 dB and switching speed less than 20 milliseconds.
