Abstract
Based on the infinity norm performance index, dynamic matrix control (DMC) skillfully combines with the step motion, and a novel control technique of synchronous motor is proposed in this paper. It breaks the traditional control method of the drive, and uses the predictive model based on the dynamic information in the rotor position of the synchronous motor, rolling optimization strategy and the feedback control algorithm to solve the problems of modeling and control for synchronous motor. Simulations are carried out using a 70HP synchronous motor operating at the position and speed control modes, respectively. The results verify the validity of our present method
