Abstract
This paper presents an indigenously designed multiprocessor board based distributed control system for 3D motion control. This proposed control system has master-slave dedicated task assignment architecture. The use of this system delivers exceptional servo control, capabilities, quality, and application performance on multi-axes requirements. The advantage of a multi axis motion control system is that it facilitates synchronization, allow user to trigger several axes at exactly the same instant. Only two axis motion controls are discussed in this paper to effectively control the motion of an object moving in 3D. The real time experimental responses are continuously plotted on PC for verification. The experimental response so obtained verifies the simulated results
