Abstract
Software requirements management is one of the most crucial yet complicated issues in software development process, which still lacks effective methods or framework. In this paper, viewing from a process perspective, a software requirements management framework based on Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to elicit, analyze, trace, and control customer requirements (CRs) systematically throughout the process of software development was proposed. The incorporation of the quantitative analysis of Quantification Method of type 3 (QM3) may be considered as a novel insight in QFD study. Finally, the proposed framework is approved to be effective through a case study on the EDI marketing software system.
