Abstract
This paper presents a design scheme for high temperature brushless DC motor system for oil well detection. The stability of motor characteristics guaranteed by the digital control strategy. Constant velocity and constant power operation are achieved by a phase-locked loop (PLL) and a current-restricting circuit respectively
