  • Abstract
    10-Gbps Error-free transmission through 10-km single-mode fiber by both 1.3 and 1.55-μm AlGaInAs/InP VCSELs have been demonstrated at 85°C. Also, 1.55-μm VCSELs with EDC shows 4-times distance expansion (40-km) for 10.7-Gbps FEC format over standard single-mode fiber.
