Abstract :
We present a numerical study of a very perturbed U-shaped metamaterial in order to understand the effect of disorder on the optical properties in such a structure. Absorbance spectra reveal large modifications in the case of perturbed matematerials (numerous peaks appear) that can be explained by considering the contributions of individual U perturbed. Contribution of high level modes is of importance for the U-shaped resonators structures.
