Abstract :
Terahertz (THz) Technology is of great interest for many applications, and THz electronics is a key field to lay the base. Superconductive devices are promising ones as THz detectors, THz frequency signal processors and so on. Optical functionality of the devices is essential for the high speed devices and applications. In this review, we will introduce our recent activities to establish ¿Superconductor Photonics¿ and discuss its ultrafast optical functionalities with Josephson junctions and vortex flow transistors by means of pump and probe optical responses and a dynamic magneto-optical microscope.
