Abstract :
The practice of e-learning will be eco-effective if the educational effect becomes sufficient. For example, the educational content exhibited by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was excellent and it has obtained a good evaluation. However, from the viewpoint of scholastic evaluation, e-learning faces a major problem with respect to personal authentication. In distance learning, a teacher does not have the means to identify a student directly. Although a web camera can be used for this purpose, it is practically impossible to monitor many students simultaneously. With a traditional ID-password pair, we cannot prevent spoofing. Previously, we proposed techniques for pinpointing a student´s position using a cellular phone or a smartphone, and we enhanced the accuracy of authentication. In this study, we refer to the geographical information on Google Maps, which enables us to pinpoint a student´s position with greater accuracy.
