  • Abstract
    The present paper concerns a short biography of academician Axel Ivanovich Berg (1893 - 1979), the Soviet scientific radio technician, the admiral, the deputy minister of defense of the USSR, the academician of Academy of Sciences of the USSR, the Hero of Socialist Work. The paper presents information concerning A.I. Berg´s participation in short wave communication tests carried out on the Black Sea Fleet in 1928, as well as a version about his participation in communication tests between the ships on the Black Sea in 1940.
