Chinese text retrieval: an adjacency matrix based approach

This paper explores an adjacency matrix based approach for Chinese text retrieval. Using this approach, retrieval systems need only keep indexing data, rather than indexing data and original text data as traditional retrieval systems do, thus system space costs as a whole can be reduced drastically while retrieval efficiency is maintained as satisfactory. Experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of this approach
