Abstract
Computing with words (CWW) is an extension of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic theory. A method of constraint retranslation for CWW based on the calculation of retranslation weights is proposed in this paper. Firstly, this paper points out the importance of closeness degree and containment degree between the fuzzy subsets of candidate words and consequent constraint in obtaining faithful retranslation result. Then the conceptions of separation operator and containment degree are defined, and the computational formula for retranslation weights computing is presented. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate the validity of the proposed method.
