Abstract :
The proposed Zhairuo Island power system located in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, is of capacity more than 5MW. It mainly consists of some marine current energy units, wind turbines, photovoltaic units, and a Li-ion/super-capacitor hybrid energy storage system. This paper reports upon the design of the system, including load balancing scheme, grid electrical design and centralized control strategies, etc.
