Abstract :
A multi-scale simulation strategy was used to simulate the single-walled carbon nanotube in realistic field emission experimental condition. For carbon nanotube which have much less atoms than the bulk emitters, the non-equilibrium effect is important, especially when the emission current is strong. The emission current plot line simulated with the nonequilibrium effect and without the nonequilibrium effect match together in the low field regime. But in the high field regime, the negative feedback of the current plays role and the increase of current is slowdown
