Abstract
In this paper explained the higher order harmonics of magnetically soft magnetoelastic ribbons with application to stress and temperature monitoring. The measured amplitude of the 2/sup nd/ harmonic as a function of temperature for two magnetoelastic ribbons, FeBSiC and FeNiMoB are compared.
