Abstract :
We propose a Max-Plus Linear (MPL) representation based on the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) framework to deal with variation in input time. The concept of time buffers in the CCPM method is executed in CCPM-MPL framework to absorb the variation for protecting completion time. Moreover, the consumption of time buffer is monitored to alert the current status of the system. The proposed method is confirmed through a numerical example.
