Abstract :
The analogue noise control system described reduces a pulse radar system thermal noise floor variation (due to variability between units and temperature) from about 10 dB down to 4 dB. It also enhances the effect of the post detector logarithmic amplifier particularly in its highest gain state leading to an improvement in the ability to visually detect displayed targets
