Abstract :
A method for designing circularly symmetric narrowband two-dimensional (2D) low-pass digital filters is presented. The filter structure is a cascade of an efficient 2D prefilter and an equalizer, which is obtained by applying the McClellan transformation to a appropriate 1D FIR (finite impulse response) equalizer
