Abstract
A novel zero switching loss three-phase AC/DC power converter is proposed. Merits of the proposed switch set include zero switch loss, simple control logic (with fixed frequency and without using current sensors), unity displacement factor as well as reduced harmonic contents. Analysis of the switching process is given and conditions achieving zero switching loss are derived. Finally, some experimental results are also given as a demonstration.<>
