Abstract
The characteristics of guided modes in chiral negative refraction grounded slab, slab and parallel-plate waveguides are studied theoretically. The dispersion curves, electromagnetic fields distribution, power flow distribution and the power of several low-order guided modes in these chiral negative refraction waveguides are calculated. Some novel features such as the existence of surface wave mode, the power flows opposite to the wave propagation direction in the chiral negative refraction waveguides are found.
