Abstract
This paper is a review of the problems and the solutions for applying superresolution methods. Superresolution means here to determine the directions and the number of some closely spaced targets. It is pointed out what practical problems arise in applying these methods in a real system, in what respect the real system differs from the theoretical models and which solutions have been introduced. The experiences are summarized in a list of lessons learned.
