Abstract

IMS provides a framework, in which the application server (AS) can store repository data at HSS using diameter protocol. This paper talks about setup and procedure required for activation/deactivation of supplementary services like call forwarding unconditional (CFU) for a particular public identity using this repository data. The paper also describes the procedure where-in CSCF will forward only those calls to AS (supporting a particular service) for which the user has subscribed.
