Abstract :
OPS (OPtical Sensor) on JERS-1 (Japanese Earth Resources Observation Satellite) has a special function of observing the stereo pair image by nadir and forward viewing. When this stereo pair image is observed, the gap of the observation time of about 20 seconds is included. Therefore, one can obtain not only terrain information, but also the vector data of objects which move in minute time, using JERS-1/OPS data
