Abstract
Bionic assembly system is a concept of self-organizing assembly system in which basic elements are autonomous mobile robots. The basic characteristics of the system are self-organization, adaptation and reconfiguration. This paper is focused on transport mobile robot type in the system and the simulation of robot´s navigation in Webots software is presented. Transport mobile robot should be designed to navigate with collision avoidance capability in the shop floor environment, flexibly coupling with the changing environment
