Abstract :
Here, 970nm DFB-BA lasers with 100μm stripe width are demonstrated that achieve for the first time a peak CW efficiency ηc = 63% at 5.5W and a peak CW power of >; 12W at 15°C. In summary, high power DFB-BA lasers with record power conversion efficiency of 63% have been demonstrated for the first time.
