Abstract :
Interest in electrospinning has been dramatically increased as many researchers have studied about nanotechnology. However, they still could not find the way that they were able to prepare a filament via electrospinning though lots of electrospun nanofibrous nonwoven mats were prepared. In this work, we prepared filament which had porous structures using poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) via electrospinning. Its morphology was studied by images using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It has been regarded that the electrospun filament had more stable structure than electrospun nonwovens by analyzing through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and WAXD. Also, mechanical properties were measured. Furthermore, a fabric was woven by using the PCL electrospun filament via a usual loom. In brief, PCL porous filament was prepared by electrospinning, and its analysis was studied in various ways.
