Abstract :
The paper is analyses an eccentric spiral antenna on a dielectric substrate backed by a conducting plane. The substrate effects on the radiation characteristics are evaluated using an integral equation characterised by the Sommerfeld integrals. A circularly polarised wave (CPW) off-normal main beam is formed on only one side of the spiral plane.
