Abstract
A slot-coupled microstrip antenna with high permittivity feed substrate and low permittivity antenna substrate has been investigated. Both measured and calculated results of input resistance and resonant frequency of the antenna on the dependence of slot length, patch axial length, thickness of substrate and permittivity are presented in detail. The calculated results agree well with the measurements. Results are applicable to accurate fabrication design of integrated antenna with MMIC.
