  • Abstract
This paper presents the modeling, simulation and the problems of a cookie manufacturing line using Petri nets. The system has two production lines. Each line has a cookie machine, a manual packaging operation of cookies and cookie boxes, and finally the closing labeling and palletization of boxes. Stochastic and timed Petri nets are used to model, simulate and evaluate the production line. For the editing, simulation and verification of generalized and stochastic Petri nets, previously developed software is used. The program can be used to model any discrete dynamic system, in particular oriented to work with manufacturing systems
