Abstract :
A Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) based approach is proposed to interpret explicit and implicit service request from users. Based on the proposed approach, a service request can be extracted and mapped to a set of predefined goal models. Goal models are elicited from the user¿s requirements and used to represent the system capabilities to satisfy user¿s service requests. The approach can reuse previous interpretation experience to interpret newly received service requests and learn interpretation experience. The intention interpretation knowledge is stored in a case-base and the intention interpretation is based on the process of case retrieval and adaptation. We made a comparison among the proposed approach, a rule-based approach and a statistical-based approach.
