Abstract :
This paper designs a two-dimensional wide-angle scanning phased array antenna element in Ka-band, the antenna element is Vivaldi antenna which is a tapered-slot antenna. This paper gives a antenna element and the antenna array simulation model in HFSS, from the analysis of the simulation results we can see that, the type of antenna has the good matching and radiation characteristic in the working band, it can achieve two-dimensional wide-angle scanning, so the antenna is suitable for the element of two-dimensional wide-angle scanning phased array antenna.
