Abstract :
The paper describes a strategy of DSC to minimize the ripple components of both torque and flux while maintaining the switching frequency constant, using the space voltage modulation. The torque error, difference between reference torque and actual torque is compared with the flux error, and then the angle of stator voltage vector is adjusted according to the ratio of both errors in order to reduce the torque and flux ripples together. The magnitude of voltage vector is determined on the synchronous frequency of PWM inverter. The proposed strategy of DSC is validated by simulation study
