Abstract :
The finite-difference in the time domain (FDTD) method is used to study electromagnetic wave propagation in a rectangular cavity and in a rectangular waveguide containing magnetized plasma. The plasma is an anisotropic material and its permittivity tensor components are functions of frequency. Numerical results were obtained and agreement was observed with some available data for the cavity using the moment method.
