Abstract
The conventional linear control method is defective for GMA due to the strong hysteresis nonlinear and hysteresis error. A fuzzy controller is designed based on the linear dynamic model of GMA, taking advantages of good robustness and perfect controlling performance of fuzzy control. Simulation work based on Matlab is given as well. The results reveal that fuzzy controller designed can achieve a good performance with rapid response of the GMA system.
