  • Abstract
    Lens design techniques used routinely in the visible and infrared wavebands have been applied to millimetre-wave lenses used in conjunction with focal plane array technology. A brief description of the lens designer´s art is given and modifications necessary for its implementation at long wavelengths are highlighted. The design of a high performance multi-element refracting lens is described.
