Abstract
Organic semiconductors are widely used for the production of electrophotographic carriers. The spectral photosensitivity required is obtained by sensitization. There are two possible ways to improve the sensitization efficiency: 1) to develop novel sensitizers and 2) to combine well-known sensitization methods. We suggest sensitizers for different spectral ranges-triple complexes of triphenylmethane and pyril dyes, metallotetraphenylporphins. A method of combined sensitization by selenium and triple complexes of pyril dyes was developed to produce panchromatic materials. The relationships between physicochemical properties of sensitizers and organic semiconductors and electrophotographic parameters of photoreceptors on their base were studied
