Abstract :
A novel lightning protective device based on the principle of lightning current duration extension and current limitation is introduced in the paper. The design idea of this new device is explained accompanied with the enlightenment of natural phenomena. The experiment results including laboratory tests, rocket triggered tests and field measurements are also given
