Abstract
The authors present a system solution (feasibility analysis and algorithm implementation) for a time-division multiaccess (TDMA) satellite system with onboard time-space-time (TST) switching stages. The procedures for the variable origin rearrangement, i.e., the dynamic management of both position and capacity of the bursts along a TDMA frame, are detailed. Special attention is devoted to arranging procedures according to a parallel processing architecture so as to shorten the rearrangement duration.<>
