Abstract
We consider the Wien-bridge chaos oscillator, a modification of a linear harmonic oscillator with a piecewise linear resistor. The study of the circuit eigenvalues as function of the circuit parameters can be useful for finding the optimal value of a given parameter for the design. As a starting point we choose such parameters that satisfy the general conditions of oscillation. Then by performing the plot of the eigenvalues for one part of the piecewise linear characteristic of the nonlinear element, it is necessary to select the parameter value that enables the increase of oscillations. The presented investigations enabled us to speed up the IC circuit design.
