Abstract
An analysis of the relationship between cross-polar discrimination (XPD) and attenuation for rain is carried out using data at 12.5, 19.8 and 29.7GHz obtained using the ESA OLYMPUS satellite. A year of measurements, carried out at the BT Laboratories at Martlesham Heath, are analysed.
